Wokingham Borough Council retained Morgan Tucker to undertake the discharge of the planning conditions for the relocation of the existing Addington school onto a new site.

A number of conditions had been placed on the planning permission, including a new roundabout, improved junctions in the area, a traffic signal review and improved surfacing.

Our role in this project has been to assess the conditions that were placed on the permission to ascertain whether they were achievable, and if so, to undertake the detailed design and implementation.

To this end, Morgan Tucker reviewed the planning permission and submitted a detailed report to the Planning Authority for adjustment of some of the conditions.

The remaining conditions involved the detailed design of a number of highway improvements.

The detailed design included liaising with statutory undertakers, contractors and Wokingham Borough Council to facilitate a complete design which met with the Authority's approval from Planning, Highways and Political aspects.

We also undertook all necessary consultation and independent Road Safety Audits for the scheme.
