MORGAN TUCKER is one of eight powerful partner organisations from across the region’s property sector which will be promoting Nottingham at this year’s MIPIM property summit held in the south of France,

Team Nottingham landed in Cannes today (tues) to fly the flag for the city – and encourage future investment.

The group of private sector organisations is led by Tim Garratt of Innes England who was committed to find a way for the city to attend after Nottingham City Council announced it would not attend in 2011 due to cost.

Team Nottingham will be spending the next three days encouraging developers and investors to come to the city and take advantage of key development areas. More than 350 investors, developers and stakeholders are expected to attend two key Team Nottingham events at MIPIM.

The team’s presence this year at MIPIM is a no-frills, no-nonsense approach, with team members looking to speak to as many investors and developers from around the world as they can.

Tonight (tues) Team Nottingham is to host a private dinner for 50 influential guests where delegates will highlight the best that the city has to offer. Guests include Russian investors from Krasnodar and a number of developers. Tomorrow there is a drinks reception for 300 people in the old port of Cannes.

Team Nottingham, which includes Innes England, Morgan Tucker, Miller Birch, Gleeds, CPMG Architects, Geldards, Nottingham Regeneration Limited and Invest in Nottingham, will be promoting projects and key expertise.

We want to bring change and real and lasting benefits to the area – and ensure we meet Nottingham’s ambitious regeneration plans.”
